Buglist - * = Cured or Addressed
BUG Status
=== ======
22* Enemy positions no longer spill off map
23* Text shown is debug info, this will not be in the final
version - ignore it for now
24* This is the same on the PC
25* MOK
26* Weapons select screen has been heavily overhauled and is now much
faster
27* This is the same on the PC
28* Airbrakes are only available on the EFA and the F22 (if it was
launched from a carrier)
29* A pause message was not displayed on the PC version either
30 Colours Mess up - Still under investigation (may have been
cured as part of another bug as it no longer seems to happen)
31* This is the same on the PC
32* A problem with the last version sent, this should now be ok
33* Logs are only modified when the game is quitted (this considerably
reduces disk swapping for anyone using floppies). For logs to be written
the game MUST be left via the quit menu. A button has been added to
the settings screen to permit the forcing of a log update during the
game.
34* Made OK (MOK)
35* see bug 32
36* see bug 32
37* MOK
38* MOK
39* MOK
40* MOK See bug 37
41 Relative airspeed error - Still under investigation
42* UNC - Not being implemented
43* ILS will only work if the player is near a runway, it will not actually
find a runway
44* The same as on the PC
45* Refuelling uses the DEL key on the Amiga
46* MOK
47* Unable to recreate - works ok when tested
48* MOK
49* This is the same as on the PC. Despite crashing the plane, the mission
had been completed successfully.
50* This mission is just a shoot down enemy planes mission with Flak.
The lack of cockpit message is the same as on the PC
51* "Gouraud" and "Show Weapons" are over ridden by the current selection of
the detail level. Show weapons only has an effect when flying an EFA,
the weapons attached to the wings become visible. Having gouraud enabled
only affects objects which contain gouraud shading (like the high detail
EFA and F22).
52* This function has been tested both with and without additional memory
and works fine without incident. It has now been disabled if running
of floppy disk.
53* See bug 33
54 MOK
55* MOK
56 Auto recovery problems - Still under investigation
57 Gear damage with option disabled - Still under investigation
58* See bug 33
59 Water detail over carrier - Still under investigation
60* MOK
61 Lockbox not doing its thing - Still under investigation
62* Able to use joystick with arcade selected - unable to recreate,
I presume you mean the joystick is active with Arcade selected on
the configuration screen and not that you can use the joystick when
playing arcade. Please confirm
Between bugs 63 and 67 we received two different sets of bugs with the
same numbers - both are listed here for completeness
--------------------------------------------------
Initial set of bugs
63 Explosions below ground detail - still under investigation
64* Related to bug 32 - should be ok now
65 Lockbox prob - under investigation
66* This is to make the mission hard (same as pc)
67 Strange colour problem - see bug 30 - possibly cured
--------------------------------------------------
Second set of bugs
63 see bug 59 (explosions appearing beneath ground detail
64 Difficult to level off with joystick - under investigation
67* used to be bug 66 on previous report
--------------------------------------------------
68b* This is the same as on the pc - also as this is a simulator mission,
there are no consequences for your actions
69* MOK
70* See 68b
71 See bug 41
72* This mission requires you to engage enemy aircraft
75* MOK
77* Mission complete message not finishing before game ends
78* A horizon problem, unable to deal with at present
79* Same as PC
80* Game crashed as missiles launched on training mission 9
- unable to recreate (probably a side effect of a previously fixed
bug)
81* Disk request simplified to text only on low memory, text centering
fixed
82* After completing training game crashes when you select something
else - unable to recreate, suspect this was tied in with bug 93
and a problem we had with loading and memory
83 3D problem - See bug 59
84* MOK
85* Planes now represented by bigger dots, text given a black backdrop
to aid readability
86* MOK
87* Due to the design of the game, there is no collision between
aircraft (same as on the pc)
88* Might not be a TFX problem, it is unlikely that TFX will corrupt a
drive, unless the machine is reset or crashes during a file write
operation
89* Unable to recreate the effect on either our A1200 or A4000/040
90* MOK
91* MOK
92* MOK
93* MOK
94* F22 too far fwd on carrier - actually seems o.k. when trying to
recreate
95* Unable to recreate on present version, I suspect this was tied in
with a problem we had with the dos, which we have just rectified
